Learning From My Betting Blunders

First to clarify the reason I wrote this article. I have been betting on the web or at physical betting houses for a great many years. I have learned, the fixation can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are broke. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you start to track your loss and the guilt sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It never works. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the harder you try the quicker you are deprived.

When you see that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, believe me, this concept almost never ever works. Say you are playing on slots, have an amount put aside before starting your play. DO NOT go over that limit, no matter how captivating. If you actually succeed, put that in a different cup. Do not use your wins no matter what. Once you have played through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it’s on the net or at a brick and mortar betting house, don’t stay around. Always remember, there will be a different day, a different time.

Always remember, wagering should be exciting not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, don’t even start.
